Eco Ghetto is a GLOBALLY GHETTO  initiative to work with traditional artisans, create income for sewers in low income communities and a sustainable lifescycle for our brand.

Upcycle
Upcycle your Globally Ghetto clothing piece!

We locate creative and skillful seamstresses, from the “ghetto”, to upcycle your old clothing
into something new, fresh and funky. You can either trade it for a coupon or pay an additional
55 EURO for a new piece of wearable art. The donated clothing will be sold at the NFT market
and other online exhibitions, unless the artist decides to keep it for themselves.

Eco Ghetto promotes artists from impoverish neighborhoods. We help develop their skill,
recognition and confidence by printing their art on eco-friendly T-shirts and selling them on our

site. We organize art competitions twice a year to select the top 3 art pieces. If you would be
interested in becoming a globally ghetto artist, subscribe to our newsletter! so you don’t miss a
thing

We employ people from Africa to create fabrics made from plant waste that grows naturally in
their country. Our current focus is on banana fiber, sisal, pineapple fibers, coconut fibers, and
mushroom leather or Kombucha.

Currently we are manufacturing our fabrics and clothing in Asia. We strive to move this
production to an African Fair-trade organization that supports the local economy.

Buying from factories who work sell Lenzing, Bemberg, RPET, Organic and natural fibers

Globally Ghetto is working towards having zero carbon, zero water wastage and being 100%
fair-trade. Our supply chain will be 100% with access to supplier information and more. Down
the line, we hope to begin creating our own sustainable fabrics. For example, orange peel,

kapok, and banana peel fabrics. We plan to invest in automation in the fashion industry to
minimize the labor cost.

We hope to carry sustainability into the work place and use 100% renewable energy in our
studio. Having a diverse group of employees is also important for us.

Social Ghetto is globally ghetto’s initiatives to work with and promote artists and seamstresses
from low-income neighborhoods

We use strictly biodegradable, compostable or recycled materials for our packaging and
labeling needs.
